Look what’s cookin’ in Tickle Elmo’s Restaurant — an entire world of pretend-play possibilities! This two-sided restaurant comes with a working microphone, cash register and play money. Little chefs can turn the chunky Bert and Ernie knobs to hear fun phrases that will make them giggle. Place the pot on the burner to hear realistic bubbling sounds and hear sizzling sounds with the pan. Press on the cutting board to hear chopping sounds, and press the bell for a delightful “ding!” Elmo talks when you take the spatula out of this hand. When the cooking is complete, turn to the kitchen’s Grover side for dining fun. Take the menu out of Grover’s hand to hear him speak, and open/close the refrigerator door for Oscar phrases. All play pieces fit neatly inside the unit’s built-in storage spaces. Requires three “AA” batteries, included. Kitchen measures 22″L x 26.3″W x 38″H.

awesome my little boy loves it
From the moment I saw this I knew i had to get it….it’s noy a specific color like pink or blue its for both boys and boys thats mainly what i like about it…also thefact that it has elmo and cookie monster make it ten times better…my little boy loves sesame street so i knew he would like it…so who ever came up with then you get a perfect te..thank you!!! Little ones will love it

My daughter received this toy for her birthday two months ago, and she plays with it every day. There was minimal assembly involved. It took longer to unwrap everything from its plastic and carboard than it took to snap on doors, turn it on and position all the cooking implements and play food.

The menu is simply and colorfully illustrated, which makes it easy for youngsters to read. The sound effects, such as sizzling, bells ringing, Ernie and Bert’s voices, and speaking into the microphone attached near the cashier make the restaurant even more fun as my child brought it to life.

The only drawbacks to the toy is that some of the doors come off easily, but they’re made to snap right back on. Also, if you leave the unit on, it will randomly ring, speak or sizzle, which can be a bit alarming in the middle of the night. This toy is also on the expensive side, a fact i wouldn’t have minded so much if it had come with a few more pieces, such as a bowl or even a chef’s hat for a child.

Elmo’s Restaurant is colorful, portable and most importantly, it provided hours of quiet, active play for young children.
