We purchased this fisher price power wheels for my son on his one year birthday and he absolutely loves it. Out of all the ride on toys to choose from this one is by far the coolest. I went shopping at Target and was highly disappointed. Everything was bright, multi-colored and really cheap looking. If you’re thinking of purchasing this for your child, do it. You’ll be happy you did. I must add, I have an almost 4 year old daughter that loves to pull stickers off of things. The white stripe detail on the rocket is a sticker. So from time to time I have to tell my daughter to stop trying to peel it off.
I have given the fisher price power wheels rocket as a gift twice to my friends children and they have loved, loved, loved it! One was a 1 year old girl, who within a few months learned to ride it properly and zooms around the house with it constantly. The other was a 2 year old boy and the fisher price power wheels rocket ended up being his favorite toy for at least a year. I like that it’s sturdy and looks cool for kids, plus it makes lots of different fun noises which adds to its appeal.
My son is 3 1/2 and he has had this rocket since his first birthday. Even though he couldn’t ride it at one, he sure could push it! The vibration freaked him out a bit, but he got over it. He still plays with his rocket every day. It has been roughed up, used as a step-stool, ridden to the playground, left outside, and even survived a sprinkler! Recently, however it “fell” down the stairs so it no longer talks or vibrates. Even though it is silent it is still used….. a LOT!
